'Some things I forgot to remember' / 'Now The Hero'

I will be exhibiting the series 'Chwilio am benillion coll 14B' at Swansea Museum from September 22nd as part of the 'Some things I forgot to remember' exhibition. The original inspiration for this series were the letters and diaries of the soldiers of the 14th Batallion, Welsh Regiment. Much of my work is concerned with the fragmented nature of remembrance, and this series developed as a reflection on the unwritten verses of those whose lives were cut short by conflict – an evocation of unfulfilled memories.
